29 Stylish Mom Outfits to Get You Through 2023

Even the most stylish mom outfits still need to be, well, mom-friendly. In other words, they can’t wrinkle easily, they can’t require dry cleaning, and you need to be able to sprint, squat, and go down a slide in them. They should also probably have pockets, so you can hold snacks, rocks, and the trash from the snacks.

It’s no wonder that a lot of times, once you become a mom, leggings and a hoodie become the default uniform. BUT! There are ways to dress for motherhood that are also cute.

I’ve rounded up a whole bunch of them, below. To make it easy to browse, I’ve arranged these ideas into mom outfits with leggings and joggers (i.e. 90 percent of your outfits), outfits with jeans, (5 perfect) and date night/girls night outfits (another 5 percent).

Wide-leg jeans are the new skinny jeans, and that’s actually a great thing for moms. They’re easy to move in, they’re cute with sneakers, and they look polished with a simple, tucked-in long-sleeve t-shirt.

17. Wide-leg white jeans, Birkenstocks and a quilted jacket

The quilted jacket is a major fashion trend of the moment. We love it as part of a stylish mom outfit because it’s as casual and easy-to-wear as it is fashion-forward.

18. A nap dress and Birkenstocks

Ahh, the nap dress. It’s a loose, flowing dress that almost looks like a nightgown, but hipper. Pair it with Birkenstocks, the go-to mom shoe, for a no-fuss look that’s trendy and polished.
